A little about me...

After completing a BS in Business with a concentration in Marketing, I started my career working within operations and policy positions helping users with a range of issues varying from technical to legal. I first became interested in UX when I completed a Web Development certificate at UC Santa Cruz Extension where I studied design fundamentals.

I then spent over four years at Twitter on the Trust and Safety team helping create and enforce policies for users and investigating potential violations. I went on to focus on scaling those processes by improving internal documentation, creating easier reporting flows with more empathetic language, improving internal tools and processes, and training. I became fascinated with understanding the users and providing them with the best experience at various touch points. I decided to broaden my understanding of UX and enrolled in the Bentley Human Factors in Information Design Master’s Program. The program combined courses in design, business, and cognitive psychology and allowed me to work with real clients developing my research, design thinking, product design, and UX strategy skills.

I have since been working as a UX Researcher, and loving every minute of it.
